In order to produce a paper pulp moulded (molded) product a moulding (molding) tool (die) is required.  We can usually supply new moulds (dies) in 4 weeks time and supply temporary product test moulds in 3 days.

Due to great technological advances in recent years the overall appearance and performance of the final paper pulp moulded (molded) packaging product has been greatly improved.  MoldMaster use CAD/CAM software programs to design moulds (dies) and this has dramatically cut down the lead-time in producing new moulds (dies) for pulp moulded (molded) packaging.

The moulds (dies) are machined on the latest CNC machines.  Due to the accuracy of the CNC machines the quality of the moulds (dies) produced by MoldMaster are extremely high and very accurate.  Because of this accuracy the moulding tool (die) and transfer tool align exactly – this reduces the wear on the moulding tools (dies) particularly the stainless steel mesh screens.  The final finished pulp moulded (molded) products have a superior surface finish and they nest and de-nest far easier.  In fact they stack together so well that many of our end users are delighted at the savings they are making on storing and transporting the finished products.

MoldMaster have a range of standard moulds (dies) for egg trays, egg cartons and other packaging and will design a mould (die) to produce packaging to suit our customer’s particular product.  MoldMaster can also produce computer-simulated designs for our customers packaging within a few days.
